Please join us at Rapha D.C. to hear from Farid Noori, Afghan mountain bike Olympic hopeful and founder of Mountain Bike Afghanistan. He will discuss his organization’s work growing mountain biking infrastructure to empower Afghan youth with the joy of riding and competing on bikes, as well as producing a positive outlook from Afghanistan to the world. They aim to transform Afghanistan into a cycling nation, using bikes for everything from transport to producing elite athletes competing at the world stage, and as a tool to achieve gender equality, and empower communities through sustainable adventure tourism.
