Saddle Placement

Saddle Height Setting

Below are steps to help you replicate the saddle height value you’ve been provided.

Helpful tools :

  • a 6 inch straight edge

  • metric tape measure

  • tape measure centering tool

Set the leading edge of the 6 inch straight edge 160mm from the nose saddle.

This is an initial reference point for your saddle hight so be careful not to disrupt the straight edge as you move onto the next steps.

Center the leading edge of your tape measure with the center of the bottom bracket circle of your frame.

Match the intersection of the 6 inch straight edge and the tape measure to the provided saddle height value.

This part can be tricky. Allow yourself a 3-5 mm buffer to set, ride, and revisit.

The saddle hight pictured is approx. 768 mm
